Cameron Young pulled one by 65 of five sous to take a five -stroke advance after the third round of Saturday in the American Wyndham PGA Tour championship.
The 28 -year -old American is looking for his first PGA title after seven finalists, including 2022 British Open in St. Andrews.

Young did six birdies, four in a row at the start of the round, and a Bogey to finish on 20 under 190 after 54 holes at the Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, in North Carolina.
“I just played the really nice golf for about an hour,” said Young. “Has had some opportunities on the nine rear too, it simply did not do so many putts. In a way, has crossed average shots in the middle of the round and pleasant to finish like me.”
The Colombian Nico Echavarria finished second in 195 after shooting 64 with the defending champion Aaron Rai from England and the Americans Mac Meissner and Chris Kirk sharing third in 198.
No player for more than three years has lost after having led by five strokes or more entering the last round of a PGA Tour event.

The world number 44 Young finished a peer of eight under 62 without Bogey of the morning completion of the second round of Friday lightning to claim a three -stroke advance.
In the third round, the youngster disturbed four consecutive birdies early and opened an eight -time side on the field through eight holes.
Young made an eight feet for steep the third part, rolled in another of just 32 feet in the fourth, reached green in two in fifth by five and two blows of 21 feet for birdie and sank a simpm putt of 15 feet in the sixth.
Young did a bogey at 14, finding a left bunker out of the tee and needing three to reach green, but responded with a Tap-in Birdie in the 15th by five, his third shot landing a few centimeters from the hole, and also completed in a Birdie putt just outside 10 feet in the 17th.
The final round of Sunday marks the end of the regular PGA season with the 70 best point golfers who are heading for the playoffs.
