Run The Blades, one of the most emblematic trail race events in Scotland, celebrated its 10th anniversary of style on weekends with record participants with more than 1,700 participants and an atmosphere of a buzzing festival in the largest onshore wind park in the United Kingdom.
During three days, thousands of runners went down to the Whitelee Whitelee of Scottishpower Renewlee wind farm to take the 10k, Demi-Marathon and 50k Ultramarathon tracks that wind between the imposing turbines of the site. The anniversary edition of the event brought together beginners, experienced ultra -tuners and enthusiastic spectators in a celebration of endurance, community spirit and the renewable future of Scotland.
