Newcastle made an offer of 69.8 million pounds sterling for Benjamin Sesko while the pursuit of striker RB Leipzig is intensifying.
This decision comes as Newcastle manager Eddie Howe admitted that the situation surrounding Alexander Isak was “far from ideal”.

Newcastle rejected an offer of 110 million pounds from Liverpool for the unstable Sweden striker this week.
The Northeast Club, which faces rigid Manchester United competition for SESKO, offered a first € (65.5 million pounds sterling) with an additional 5 million euros (4.3 million pounds sterling) in Add-on modules for the 22-year-old Slovenia International.
It is believed that Sesko has not yet made a final decision on the place where his future is, although he would have said to his Leipzig teammates that he would leave the Bundesliga Club. Sesko was excluded from the Leipzig team who was to face a friendly match on Saturday.
Manchester United had not yet submitted an official offer on Friday evening, but stayed in talks with the representatives of Leipzig and Sesko.

The manager of United Ruben Amorim is eager to add a center-forward before the end of the transfer window, while Howe is desperate to strengthen after a hot summer which took another twist in the middle of Isak’s desire to leave.
Isak trains alone in the Zubieta installations of the former Real Sociedad club, but must now return to England and resume training with Newcastle. The first Howe had heard of Isak working in Sociedad was done via the media. The majority of the Newcastle team is in Asia during the club’s pre-season tour.
“I think that in my situation, I am very removed from everything that is happening at home,” said Howe on Isak.
“I was informed that there was an offer yesterday. This offer was refused before I even heard about it, so I think there are people in England who deal with the situation. I really don’t know what will happen next, but from our point of view, we always support Alex in all ways, and my wish is always that we see him in a Newcastle shirt again.

Isak, 25, did not trace in Asia with the Newcastle team because of what was described as a “minor injury to the thigh”, only to speak of his misfortune to emerge.
Howe has admitted “You don’t know what’s going to happen from this point”.
“I know where he is, really, through the media, so I think that in this perspective, it is difficult for me to go in any type of detail,” said Newcastle manager. “The situation is far from ideal and it’s quite complex. I think that’s all I have to say.”

Howe spoke at a press conference in Seoul before his team’s friendly match against Tottenham, but was tightened when he questioned Sesko’s Newcastle’s pursuit, saying that he “cannot talk about individual targets”.

Newcastle has already seen a target, Bryan Mbeumo, choose United on them and does not want to lose the Manchester Club for another player. They were also interested in Matheus Cunha, who also moved to Old Trafford.
Howe – who also saw targets like goalkeeper James Trafford and striker Hugo Ekitike joins Manchester City and Liverpool respectively – said: “We are looking for the best players we can get. Whatever our target position, we are looking for the best, so I see all the situations open and available.
“I think this is the only way we are going to arrive where we want to go, which is to maximize, and it is quality compared to quantity. It has always been. It’s always the way we try to work and try to recruit, and I think we have done it enough at this point.
“It was a difficult summer, as you know, because we have missed various targets for lots of different reasons. But we are always very competitive and we are always there to try to bring very good players to the club and that will not change before the window closed.”

Manchester United looked for their own attacker since Liam Delap rejected his approach to join Chelsea from Ipswich for 30 million pounds Sterling in early summer. They chose to prioritize a decision for Sesko on Ollie Watkins of Aston Villa, even if the Premier League experience was an important factor in their approach to this transfer window.
United does not have to sell players immediately to be able to finance a move for SESKO.
