Tottenham announced the signature of Joao Palhinha on loan from Bayern Munich.
The midfielder will spend the season in Spurs, who will pay the player’s full salary and make the possibility of making the movement permanent at the end of the season for around 21 million pounds sterling.

The arrival of Palhinha provides a quality addition to the head coach Thomas Frank in a position of problem, while the cheap nature of the agreement releases funds to spend elsewhere.
Spurs have already shown that they are ready to spend big this summer, having failed to win Morgan Gibbs-White in a contract of 60 million pounds sterling, and to remain interested in strengthening their ranks of attack.
The expected departure of Captain Heung-Min would release a space on the sides, and the Spurs also want to sign a No10.
For Palhinha, it is a return to the Premier League after a season, having been among the best players in the division with Fulham, but saw the chances limited in Bayern.

Palhinha joined Bayern for initial costs of 43.2 million pounds Sterling last summer, representing a sale of club players for Fulham.
But the defensive midfielder only made six Bundesliga starts last season because he became clear that he was not one of the plans of manager Vincent Kompany.
