Donald Trump opens a new golf course in Aberdeenshire Resort

Donald Trump officially opened a new golf course in his station Aberdeenshire.

The American president went to the new Menie’s journey in front of a crowd, notably golfers, the Scottish Prime Minister and the Scottish Labor Manager.

Trump also referred to the reported support of the late actor James Bond, Sir Sean Connery, at his golf station – even trying to recreate the actor’s voice.

Just before hitting the first ball on the new course, the American president told those gathered on a forum: “We started with a magnificent land, but we made him much more beautiful.

“The region really welcomed us. If you remember at first, there was not quite a welcome, but it was not bad.

“But over time, they loved us more and more, now they love us and we love them.”

Trump added: “I can’t wait to play today.

“We will play it very quickly, then I will return to DC and we turn fires all over the world.”

During the ribbon cup ceremony, the president thanked his son Eric for his role in creating the new 18 -hole course, adding: “It was an incredible development.

The construction of the new course in Menie began in 2023, with Trump and his son Eric breaking the project.

Trump International Scotland says the two courses will be the “36 biggest golf holes”.

Critics say that Trump’s developments in Scotland have not provided as many jobs as promised and work on the Menie site have caused environmental damage.

Media members watched the opening ceremony from a column, with music played beforehand, notably Roxanne, Thriller and Surfin ‘USA, more music by The Script and Elvis.

The president has already played several golf cycles during his Scottish trip, going to his other complex in Turnberry, in the south of Ayrshire, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
