India has rejected England and the heroism of Chris Woakes to produce an exhilarating blitz of the Crick Day to snatch a six-point victory in the fifth test and a standard draw in a noisy oval.
After a combination of rain and bad light sent this captivating series on Monday, the drama boiled on an absorbing morning with quisters Mohammed Siraj, the player of the match after a memorable transport, and Prasidh Krishna, offering a spark while the ball was making horns.
